Interlibrary loans for Library users

Ordering materials from other libraries

Through interlibrary loans, the Library can acquire materials for its users that it does not own or does not provide access to.

Orders are sent via e-mail to mkp@ffzg.hr.

The library orders materials from Croatian and foreign libraries. It is possible to obtain all types of materials (books, articles, chapters, theses, etc.)

Before ordering, the user will receive information about ordering options and the price of the service.

Time required to receive materials depends on the type of materials and the library that loans and it varies from 2 to 48 hours for electronic articles and from 3 to 15 working days for books and articles that are sent by mail.

The loan period of the acquired materials depends on the rules of interlibrary loans of the libraries from which the materials were borrowed (between 2 and 4 weeks), and the articles remain in the permanent ownership of the user.

Costs can be covered by a private payment to the Faculty bank account (according to the information provided by the Service) or, for teaching staff, from the funds of the department or project, which requires the signature of the head of the department or the project manager.

Materials can be obtained at the reference desk on the ground floor of the Library during the opening hours of the Library (working days 8 AM to 8 PM).

All other information can be obtained by e-mail at mkp@ffzg.hr or by phone, at +385 1 4092 281.
