Use of Library halls respecting anti-epidemic measures

The halls have a reduced number of seats due to anti-epidemic measures:

  • Computer room (1st floor): 15 seats
  • Conference hall (2nd floor): 30 seats
  • Small AV hall (4th floor): 3 seats
  • Seminar hall (3rd floor): – currently not in circulation (in the process of repairing damage after an earthquake).

Users are allowed to watch movies on computers in reading rooms with the obligatory use of their own headphones.

Rooms for individual work (study rooms)

Rooms for individual work (study rooms) can be used only by the teaching staff of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FFZG).
Eight rooms for individual work are located in the basement of the Library, and can be used during the working hours of the Library.

It is not possible to reserve a study room for individual work in advance. To use the study rooms, it is necessary to contact the Library staff at the Central Information
Desk on the Ground floor of the Library. Upon completion of use, the room should be emptied and locked, and the key returned to the employee at the Central Info Desk on the Ground floor of the Library.

Library halls

The library of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FFZG) in Zagreb has several halls that are suitable for organizing various events.
All halls are located in the Library and need to be booked in advance.

RESERVATION PROCEDURE

  • Below the description of each hall there is a link to the calendar of availability of time slots.
  • Please confirm the requested date and time with the contact person Lana Zrnić
  • After the reservation is confirmed, it is necessary to write the Vice Dean for organization and development Dr. Hrvoje Stančić (prodekan.organizacija@ffzg.hr) a request for the use of the hall in a reserved time slot with the specified purpose.
  • Please file your request at the Central Information Desk on the Ground floor of the Library.

RULES FOR USE OF THE HALLS

  • Library halls are available for use on weekdays (Mon-Fri) from 8:15 am to 7:45 pm.
  • The key to the hall is charged at the Info desk on the floor where the hall is located.
  • It is forbidden to bring food and drinks into the halls.

EXTERNAL USERS

With the approval of the Faculty Administration, the external users can rent halls and computer classrooms according to the valid price list of the Faculty.

Small AV-hall

exclusively for students and employees of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FFZG)

– for group work it is enough to contact librarians at the info desk on the 3rd floor to book an available time slot

– it is possible to reserve only one time slot in advance

– suitable for group work and meetings
