The University of Zagreb Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences issues a
CALL for Applications: Erasmus+ Mobility for Non-Teaching Staff from Companies and Research Institutions Outside Croatia, through the Erasmus+ Programme or Independently
The Library of the University of Zagreb Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences will host The International Library Staff Exchange Week for international librarians during the summer semester of 2026./2027. academic year. The International Library Staff Exchange Week will be held from the 21st to the 25th of September 2026. in the City of Zagreb. The main goal of the event is to showcase the experiences and services of the University of Zagreb libraries, while also gaining valuable insights and perspectives from international participants. In addition to showcasing these experiences and services, the programme aims to promote the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences as a centre for lifelong learning and to highlight the cultural and scientific heritage of the City of Zagreb.
About activities:
Professional development for non-teaching staff – Staff Week on the following topics:
- · Artificial Intelligence and Libraries (services, business processes, ethical issues…)
- · Open Science and Open Access (citizen science)
- · Management of digital assets, electronic resources, and related projects
- · Library Support for Researchers in Science and Research (bibliometrics, research data management…)
- · Library Services
Application Deadline
The deadline to apply via the online form is the 12th of June 2026.
Important Information
Travel and accommodation costs are to be covered by participants (or by the Erasmus+ project). Please contact the International Office at your home institution, as participation may qualify as Erasmus+ staff mobility. Please do not make travel arrangements until your participation has been confirmed.
The results of the call and the final programme are expected to be announced in July 2026.
The registration fee of €200 includes a welcome lunch, a working dinner, a city tour of Zagreb, and a museum visit. The programme will also include a guided tour of the National and University Library in Zagreb.
The University of Zagreb Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is a member of UNICA – The Network of Universities from the Capitals of Europe, and therefore, the call is also published on the IMOTION Erasmus Staff Training platform http://staffmobility.eu/
